Allen West ‘Deeply Troubled’ By Recount

Rep. Allen West (R-FL) thanked supporters in a Facebook post Monday, calling his backers “guardians of America’s honor.”
While Florida officials certified Patrick Murphy (D) as the winner on Saturday, West is still refusing to concede the race.
“If people are that adamant about getting rid of me, that’s fine,” West told Fox News on Monday. “But don’t do it at the expense of the integrity of our electoral process. That’s what disturbs me the most.”
In his Facebook post, West said he was “deeply troubled by the voting procedure issues” in St. Lucie County. “It is unconscionable to me to witness what is transpiring before our eyes,” West wrote.
After a weekend recount of ballots cast during three days of early voting in St. Lucie County, Murphy still lead West by a margin of more than 0.5.
West’s team, however, is calling the recount a “sham,” saying all eight days of early ballots should be recounted in St. Lucie County.
St. Lucie County agreed to recount three days of early ballots out of concern about issues with voting machine memory cards.
Assistant County Attorney Heather Young said the recount only included the last three days of early voting because those were the only days the county encountered problems reading memory cards.

The number of registered voters in St. Lucie County is 175,554. There were 247,713 vote cards cast. That gives a 141% voting in that county. At the National Seal Museum (a precinct) the voter turn out was 158.85%.
How is it possible to have a greater voter turn out than the number of registered voters? Why isn’t this broadcast on the news? I would really like to understand how a county can have more voter cards than registered voters. Please address this concern.
Yes, something does seem wrong. First, it’s wrong that Linda Johnson doesn’t state the sources for the percentages she is using, upon which she is basing her questions. Hopefully the percentages would be from reliable sources. Without knowing from where the percentages came, it seems to me that it would be foolish for one to attempt to answer her questions.
