The Big Picture: Send Us Your Election Pics

October 31, 2012 at 12:41 pm

Want to share your voting experience? FLDemocracy and WPTV are collecting your election photos for our feature, “The Big Picture.”

This includes shots of everything from lines at your polling place to volunteers campaigning outside voting locations.

Please email your photos to youreport@wptv.com and share where you took the picture and any other relevant information.  We’ll be using your photos for our slide-show of election shots from around Florida.

You can also share your voting experience by contributing to our ”Election Experience” feature. E-mail your reports to  youreport@wptv.com or nmcalvanah@wptv.com.

Your Election Experience:

A reader reports: “Standing in line for 2 hours to vote at Jupiter Library, poll worker just came out to announce that 4 of the 5 computers are down and they don’t know when they’ll be back” (Wednesday, October 31, 2012).

A reader reports: “It has been noted that there is extreme discord by the Republican party at some of our Palm Beach County voting poles. Specifically in Wellington and Jupiter… There is an Army type vehicle outside of the Wellington pole, yesterday the Palm Beach County Sheriff was there to keep things under control” (Wednesday, October 31, 2012).

A reader reports: “Stood in line for 45 minutes with no movement… computers are down. Wow, first chads now computers what next” (Wednesday, October 31, 2012).
