After Sandy, Mitt Romney Returns To Campaign Trail

After a two-day pause from the campaign trail because of Hurricane Sandy, Mitt Romney continued to make his case for the presidency on Wednesday during a three-city swing through Florida.
Romney walked a political fine line — first in Tampa, then at the University of Miami — where he fired up supporters while not losing sight of the devastation of Hurricane Sandy.
“That’s one of the great characteristics of our people. We come together in times of trial and this is one of those times for millions of people in our country,” Romney said. “Do your very best in your prayers and your thoughts and with your funds if you can.”
Six days ahead of Election Day, the race is increasingly tight, especially in Florida.
Tomorrow, President Barack Obama returns to the campaign trail with events in Colorado and Nevada.
He is expected to campaign in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday.
