House Majority PAC Takes On Webster In New Ad

October 02, 2012 at 11:32 am

Rep. Dan Webster (R-FL) is one of six Republicans targeted in a new, $1.2 million nationwide ad blitz from the Democratic Super PAC House Majority PAC.

The ad hits Webster for supporting a plan to increase Medicare costs for seniors while voting to continue Bush-era tax cuts for taxpayers making more than $250,000 annually.

“Daniel Webster has a message for seniors: Get to the back of the line. Millionaires and corporations come first,” a narrator says in the spot, before adding that the Orlando-area Republican voted to double seniors Medicare bills.

Webster faces former Orlando police chief Democrat Val Demings in Florida’s redrawn 10th congressional district, which includes parts of Orange, Lake and Polk counties.

The spot marks the latest foray by outside groups into the Webster-Demings race. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has reserved about $2 million in television ads for Demings this fall.

  1. Not to hijack this thread, but I’d like to find out if I’m eligible for a short sale and I can’t figure out how to find a good, local realtor… do you know anything about this realtor? They’re listed in the city of sacramento, not too far from my home and I can’t find reviews on them – Becky Lund & Associates – Sacramento Realtors, 8814 Madison Avenue #2 Fair Oaks, CA 95628 (916) 531-7124
