President Obama’s most powerful campaign weapon, First Lady Michelle Obama, will be back in the Sunshine State on Wednesday for a grassroots rally in Fort Lauderdale.

Obama is scheduled to speak at a Fort Lauderdale rally as part of the campaign’s new “It Takes One” voter registration strategy.

The first lady’s rally comes just five days before Republicans are set to descend on the state for the party’s convention in Tampa– not the first time Obama been deployed to the Sunshine State to peel some attention away from Republicans.  Five days before Florida’s Jan. 31 GOP presidential primary, Obama paid a visit to Tampa, Sarasota, Palm Beach.
