Sun-Sentinel Endorses Lois Frankel In FL-22 Primary

July 30, 2012 at 11:00 am

On Sunday, the Sun-Sentinel, the most widely-read daily paper in the 22nd Congressional District, endorsed Lois Frankel in the Democratic primary for Congress.

In the endorsement, the Sun-Sentinel editorial board made note of Frankel’s “public service experience” and bipartisan record as a legislator who “worked with her Republican colleagues to pass legislation that benefited her constituency, including a major HIV/AIDS initiative and child care and women’s health care bills.”

Calling Frankel’s record as mayor of West Palm Beach “impressive,” the Sun-Sentinel “urges Democratic Party voters to choose her as the nominee.”

Frankel, who nabbed the endorsement of MoveOn.Org last week, faces Broward County Commissioner Kristin Jacobs in the August 14 primary.
