Frankel Touts Her Record On Healthcare In New Ad

In a new campaign ad that begins airing Tuesday, former West Palm Beach Mayor Lois Frankel promises to stand up for the health care of women and seniors.
In the 30-second ad, titled “Health,” a narrator notes that Frankel won’t replace Medicare with vouchers, “which could cost seniors thousands.” The narrator also says that Frankel “forced insurance companies to cover mammograms,” and fought for increased prescription drug funding for seniors.
“Most seniors rely on Medicare as their primary health insurance,” said Frankel in a press release accompanying her new spot. “In Congress, I’ll protect Medicare against radical attacks and wealthy special interests, and work to lower health care costs without reducing the high quality of care Americans deserve.”
The release of the ad coincides with the 47th anniversary of Medicare.
