Lois Frankel’s campaign released its first TV ad on Wednesday, a 30-second spot titled “Always.” In the ad, Frankel explains her record as a former legislator and mayor.
“As West Palm Beach’s mayor I took on the establishment to cut crime, create jobs and balance the budget,” Frankel says in the ad. “I took on insurance companies—forcing them to cover mammograms—stopping them from gouging seniors. In Congress, I’ll strengthen Social Security, defend Medicare and protect women’s health care. My record is clear. I always take your side. Always.”
The spot begins running in both the Palm Beach and Miami media markets Wednesday. Frankel’s opponent in Democratic primary, Kristin Jacobs, has run two ads. The winner of the Aug. 14 primary will face former Florida House Majority Leader Adam Hasner (R) in the Palm Beach-Broward District 22 race.
