According to a new Rasmussen poll of likely Florida voters, Mitt Romney and President Obama are locked in a dead heat in the Sunshine State. The telephone survey has Romney leading Obama 46 to 45 percent. Another five percent of voters prefer a different candidate and four percent are undecided.

A Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely Sunshine State voters in April also had Romney leading Obama 46 to 45 percent.

The survey of 500 Likely Voters in Florida was conducted on July 9, 2012 and has a margin of error of +/- 4.5 percentage points.
