Hasner Raises $558K In Second Quarter

July 09, 2012 at 10:19 am

Senate candidate-turned congressional candidate Adam Hasner  (R) raised over $558,000 in the second quarter of 2012, his campaign reported Monday. The latest haul brings Hasner’s total cash on hand to over $1 million.

Hasner is vying for the District 22 seat currently held by Rep. Allen West (R-FL), who is running for re-election in the more GOP-friendly District 18. After West made the decision to switch districts in late January, Hasner abandoned his Republican U.S. Senate bid to pursue the District 22 seat.

Former West Palm Beach Mayor Lois Frankel—who is running in the Democratic primary to take on Haser– raised over $400,000 for the second quarter of 2012, her campaign reported last week. Democrat Kristin Jacobs has not yet disclosed his fundraising totals for the quarter.

“We will continue to build on this positive momentum because our eventual opponent will be well-funded,” Hasner campaign manager Brad Herold said in a release today.
