Rep. Allen West (R-FL) resurrected President Obama’s drug use during a Boca Raton town hall Tuesday,  instructing an unfriendly questioner to consider “the president doing blow.”

Asked about charges that he assaulted an Iraqi police officer in 2003, West gave a brief answer before pivoting to Obama. “If you guys want to go back and talk about what happened nine years ago for me, let’s talk about the president doing blow, and smoking dope,” West said.

New details of the president’s decades-old drug-use have emerged ahead of the release of David Maraniss’s upcoming biography of a young Obama.
