Major construction to the Military Trail entrance of Lynn University continues ahead of one of the most prestigious events to be held on campus this year. The rain showers have not hindered lane expansion, as paving crews start to lay down asphalt.

The road work is one of many projects the university hopes to have completed by October 22, when President Obama and Mitt Romney will take the stage at Lynn’s 750-seat Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center for the third and final debate.

 Other preparations include a shuttle route, which is being developed in conjunction with the secret service.
