The Obama campaign is running a new Spanish-language television ad in Florida, this one featuring Rodrigo Rios, an Obama for America volunteer from Broward County. In the ad, Rios discusses the financial concerns he has with paying for his eldest daughter’s higher education and why it is one of many reasons he got involved with the Obama re-election campaign.
On Wednesday, Obama’s re-election campaign released a similar spot in Florida featuring Tampa volunteer Elena McCullough. The ads are part of a series of Spanish language TV and radio ads aimed at rallying support among Hispanics. The first four spots were rolled out last week and are also running in Colorado and Nevada.
The ads all feature testimonials from campaign organizers “sharing their personal stories of how the President’s policies have empowered Latino families and communities.”
